EBS MetalDrive Bass Distortion
Bass distortion is not the easiest beast to tame, so EBS and John Moyer decided not to tame it at all. The Disturbed bassist and the disturbed Swedish audio company collaborated on the new EBS MetalDrive pedal, a bass distortion so wild, it's sure to induce schizophrenia.
Set for to be shown-off at EBS's booth at the upcoming MusikMesse 2009 show, the EBS MetalDrive is the eighth in the EBS Black Label series of bass effects pedals. Other pedals in the series include the celebrated OctaBass and Bass IQ pedals, so you know the MetalDrive has quite the reputation to live up to.
Controls on the MetalDrive will include "distortion" and "overdrive" and sports a tri-function switch to switch between Standard, Flat and Tubeism modes. No volume control? No EQ? Hmm. . . well, like I always say, "If it's good enough for John Moyer of Disturbed, I still need to hear it before I determine whether or not it's good enough for me."
